Hello! Let me introduce myself... My name's David, and I've just started a new job, after six(!) years at Essex University. This is my old university home page, and some of the links may no longer work. I'll try and get a new website on-line in the new year (2003) - for now, this will have to do! I'm married to Beccy, and we hope to move to Biggleswade in the near future, so I can stop commuting from Brightlingsea to Stevenage! I love music, though apparently I have no taste! My most obscure (and favourite) hobby is collecting old records and gramophones. I think the best way to spend an evening is to completely lose track of time in the company of good friends. Other enjoyable places to be are at a concert or show, seeing a film, or at a decent club. On these pages you can find details about me, my work, life and interests.
